Little Red in the City, and other fabulous things....

We have Little red in the city in stock and it is ready to inspire you!  This pattern book is written by Ysolda, who is a very talented new designer.  Her concept behind this pattern book was to create garments that are flattering on EVERY shape.  She has accomplished this through the shaping she incorporates in her designs.  She adds extensive photography that show the garments on different body shapes.  I feel this pattern book is a break through in knitwear design. Ysolda also happens to be cute as a button and sweet as pie and that doesn't hurt one bit.

Come and pick up the beautiful Malabrigo Rios to make one of Ysolda's designs.  The Rios has a nice twist to limit pilling and is SUPERWASH!!!  It has a delightfully spongy quality to it that makes me want to squeeze it every time I touch it!

More ruffle yarn.........Flounce.....
and more ruffle yarn......Triana....
And, now a word from Jeremy about our upcoming Summer Fiber Fest festivities.....

Hello loyal blog followers, Registration for Fiber Fest - Summer Session is Here! We had so much fun with you and our special guests back in April and could not let the summer go by without another huge needlearts event. The National Knit & Crochet Show is in town the last weekend of the month. Amazing fiber artists, authors, yarn enthusiasts, and personalities are converging on Minneapolis. Steven has pulled in the all the highlights from the show to bring you a jam packed schedule of events, workshops, and classes in the weeks surrounding the show.

It’s a fantastic time to expand your needle arts knowledge - we have classes, trunk shows, book signings, and events from some of the most inspirational personalities from around the country and the globe. And it’s YOUR TIME to have fun, laugh, learn, relax and enjoy yourself.
There is so much going on, you won’t want to miss it! So bring a friend and register as soon as possible for the best that knit and crochet have to offer.
Your Summer Needlearts education continues into August with lacy knits and Irish crochet lace. Check out these mini-workshops coming to StevenBe following the Knit & Crochet Show.
The first week of August, historian, author and Irish crochet expert Maire Treanor will host two events that bring to life the intricacies of Irish crochet. Treanor, who lives in Clones, Ireland, will travel to Minnesota to share her 22 years of Clone Lace experience and research.
Local knit celebrity Annie Modesitt rounds out the week for those knitters who dabble in lace or want to get started. Annie was a big hit here in the spring. Her salon class will be one not to miss.
