The Glitter Knitter on the North Shore

Here are some photos from the Northland Division Meeting at the Fitger's Inn in Duluth. Steven spent the morning sharing a fascinating illustrated story of how he began and grew to be the fiber artist he is today. In the afternoon, he shared stash busters and special techniques with the 80 Northern Minnesota Knitters. His creations and creativity inspired one and all.

Getting Ready for a grand Seminar in Duluth

Steven is at Fitger's Inn in Duluth.

He is presenting to the Northland section of the Minnesota Knitters guild in a few minutes. We will be having 70 Northern Minnesota Knitters for the day.  This is going to be fun and exciting.

Steven, the Glitter Knitter, goes to the source

Have you ever met the source of your yarn?  Have you ever pet the creator of your Angora? Did you miss it?

Steven, Christa - the Senior Glitter Knitter, and Cassidy spent the weekend at the Shepherd's Harvest Festival located at the Washington County Fairgrounds.  They shared the latest and greatest at natural and green fibers with the thousands of Harvest visitors.  Cassidy actually took a couple of the Llama's out for a stroll.  They watched Angora being spun directly off the rabbit.  (It does not hurt the rabbit.)

Steven said, "It was a grand opportunity to meet yarners and crocheters from Wisconsin and Minnesota that like their craft a bit closer to the source.  They are excited about dropping into the Yarn Garage to get the tools for their craft."
