Andy Tatum, our tour director for the Cast off for England - The Great American / British Knitting Tour, says that the Steven and eight other folks from around the country are already signing up for the Tour.
"There are only 20 Spots total on this tour so sign up NOW."
Staying in a recently updated 17th Century coaching Inn, and local Bed & Breakfasts, our trip will visit the beautiful Derbyshire Peak District, home to Rowan Yarns. The centerpiece for the trip will be a 2-day workshop hosted by Rowan Yarns, as part of their 30th Anniversary celebrations. We will also feature several half-day workshops with Steven, where we hope to invite English knitters from the area. To give your fingers a rest, we will be offering side trips to some of the local attractions, including historic houses, market towns and some sites of significance to the yarn and knitting industry.

Every second Sunday, Steven and folks who are Urban Fiber Fanatics meet at the wonderful Wilde Roast in the East Hennepin Area. You need to let Steven know if you are coming so make certain you are on the email list to get the announcements and the specials.
They show their latest creativity and get tips from Steven, The Glitter Knitter, on tuning up projects in the build. There are a lot of exciting new ideas every meeting.

Bob White played show and folk tunes on the violin while the wonderful Starbucks crew served treats and great Starbucks coffee. Bob also invited the gang to sign up for the Fall "Cast Off to England, The Great British/American Knitting Tour" that Steven is hosting. For more information on that, click here. Remember, every second Monday of the Month, the gang gathers at Starbucks in Rosemount. Be there next month for special spring knitting projects Steven will bring.
Over 30 Knit and Crochet Fiber fanatics had a blast at Starbucks in Rosemount tonight. They enjoyed attention from Steven and Steven's Mom, Christa, working on their own projects and also working on Glitter Knitter Gang charitable hats to give to newborns. Steven showed some of the new and exciting fibers that just arrived at the shop and, to those who are on the Glitter Knitter email list, gave out great discounts on the latest and greatest yarns. This is a not to be missed event.
